  • AIDA 2 BASIC FREEDIVING.

The AIDA 2 Freediver Course is the perfect starting point for anyone looking to earn their first freediving certification in Lanzarote. As AIDA Level 1 is included within the course, there is no need to complete a try freediving session beforehand or an AIDA 1 freediving course. This freediving course is designed for beginners, and is an internationally recognised freediving and apnea course that provides the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to become a safe and competent freediver.

Over 2.5 days or 4 half days, you will learn essential freediving techniques, including breathing and relaxation methods, static and dynamic apnea, equalisation, finning, duck dives, and buoyancy control.

Open-water training sessions will introduce you to depth diving up to 12 metres, line diving, rescue skills, and buddy system techniques, all under the guidance of experienced instructors.

The course also includes comprehensive freediving theory covering physiology, the breathing cycle, equalisation, safety, equipment, and the different freediving disciplines. Set in the crystal-clear waters of Lanzarote, the AIDA 2 course is the ideal way to begin your freediving journey and develop a strong foundation in breath-hold diving.
